Camping Checklist
Camping Equipment
- q Tent & Tarp: Don't forget the poles, ropes, stakes, and a hammer (to drive in the stakes)
- q Lantern
- q Stove and/or Grill (if grill, remember lighter fluid and charcoal)
- q Sleeping bag and/or blankets (it will always be cool; sometimes very cold at night)
- q Foam pads, or air mattresses (batteries for mattress inflator)
- q Pillows
- q Chairs (you'll be glad you brought them)
- q Hatchet or Ax
- q Flashlights(2) (check those batteries!)
- q Matches
- q Cooking utensils (don't forget the coffeepot)
- q Plates, cups, glasses, plastic eating utensils
- q Food (remember the can opener, if needed) & Drinks (pop, koolaid, water, etc.)
- q Garbage bags
- q First Aid Kit
Personal Items
- q Warm clothes (don't be bashful bring plenty - layers work best - temperature varies throughout day)
- q Comfortable walking shoes; or hiking boots
- q Wash cloth, hand towel, and soap
- q Toothbrush, toothpaste
- q Comb and brush
- q Bug spray
- q Sun block
