Events and Activities

The events and activities of the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses programs are planned to provide an opportunity for dads and their children to spend meaningful time together. Examples include camping, bikeriding, iceskating, movie nights, rockwall climbing, and many more.

Federation-wide Events

Each month there is at least one Federation-wide event. The three largest events are our Fall, Winter and Spring campouts. Other federation-wide events change each year depending on response and availability.

Nation-wide Events

Some events may include only a subset of the six member nations. For example, the annual Daddy-Daughter dance (very popular) only includes the three Y-Princess nations. One or more nations may get together at their discretion for events that include all of their tribes. These events are sponsored, planned and run by the individual Nation leaders.

Tribal Activities

Each tribe gets together on a monthly basis for a tribal meeting. In addition, tribes may plan their own activities. Such activities are at the discretion of the tribe leaders, and they are sponsored, planned and run by the individual tribe leaders.
