How To Make A Tribal Torch

- Each tribe should have one torch for the bonfine processional at fall and spring campouts.

- DO NOT use a wooden pole, or a wooden stick to carry a torch.

- DO NOT let the children carry the torches.

- YMCA will supply kerosene at campouts to fuel the torch. You must supply a full toilet paper roll (bring from home). Torches are fueled (soaked with kerosene) 1/2 hour before torch parade begins. Torch should burn for about one hour.

- Show tribal spirit. Decorate your torch with symbols of your tribe (but do not hang anything from it that may catch fire).
