Trailblazer Events

Similar to the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses programs, Trailblazer events are planned to provide an opportunity for dads and their children to spend meaningful time together. Although some of the events are similar, such as camping, or bike riding, they tend to be more challenging. For example, the campouts tend to be further away, the campgrounds are more picturesque, and have more to offer in terms of recreation.

In addition, there are more adventurous events, such as canoe trips, submarine overnights, and more. If you'd like to find out more, please contact Ben Pinegar at the YMCA.

No Monthly Meetings

Unlike the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses programs there are no monthly tribal meetings, because there are no tribes. Although we currently organize traiblazers into lodges, there are no lodge meetings. We use the lodges solely for communication and organizational reasons.
